Problem :

  • Users experience significant variability in delivery times due to lack of real-time synchronisation between restaurants and delivery partners.

  • Reviews on food delivery apps often lack context, such as whether the review is about the food quality, delivery speed, or customer service.

  • Users are unable to customize their orders to their liking due to limited options and a lack of flexibility in the app’s order system.

  • Users with specific dietary needs (e.g., gluten-free, vegan) struggle to find suitable food options due to inadequate filtering options in the app.

Solution :

  • Implement a dynamic scheduling system that integrates real-time data from both restaurants and delivery partners.

  • Introduce a contextual review system where users can rate and comment on specific aspects of their experience separately (e.g., food quality, delivery experience, service).

  • Create a more robust customization interface that allows users to modify their orders in detail, including ingredient changes, portion sizes, and special requests.

  • Develop an advanced dietary preferences filter that allows users to specify multiple dietary restrictions and preferences.
